Annual Meeting Saturday, February 18, 2012, Noon
Brunswick Community Center at Keyes Lane (off Route 7) Join fellow members at the annual meeting of the society. Luncheon to be served at noon, and followed at 1:00 p.m. by historical interpreter Phyllis Chapman, who will portray Clara Barton (1821-1912). Barton's early life will be presented, as well as her work as a front-line nurse during the Civil War, and the medical tools and supplies available during this period. Election and installation of officers at 2:00 p.m. Luncheon and program open to the public.
Cost:$8.00 per person, check payable to Brunswick Historical Society, and mailed to P.O. Box 1776, Cropseyville, NY 12052. Reservations close February 15th. For further information, please call (518) 279- 1215. Please note: To vote, member dues must be paid.
This past November a Recognition Dinner was held in honor of long -time member Shirley F.Madsen (center), in appreciation of her many years of service and contribution to the society.
